Having 40 years of driving experience certainly helps being a good pilot, but it's not everything. Being able to communicate effectively with truck drivers, business owners and government departments and possessing good business acumen, an understanding of technology and a desire to 'go that extra mile' is what I believe makes a truly successful pilot.

I came to this industry with a love for driving and a love of our great country and all it has to offer. Western Australia is unique in many ways, not least of all the distances needed to travel to get to various regional destinations. The logistics of moving oversize/overmass loads within our state and interstate are many and varied. Having a good knowledge of metropolitan and regional areas and the various terrains, is more than just helpful - it's a must.
